Schneider & Branch is an AV-rated law firm based in San Diego. Our practice is limited to civil litigation matters only. We represent clients who need the skill and sophistication of large firm lawyers, but who also demand the personal service and economy of a small firm. Our expertise is resolving disputes in complex business and real estate litigation; and significant personal injury and wrongful death litigation.
We handle cases primarily in Southern California, including San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. We also handle cases elsewhere in California and in some other states with the assistance of carefully selected local counsel.
We practice before both the state and federal courts. We also practice before all major alternative dispute resolution services, including the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Service (“JAMS”), ADR Services, Inc., and the National Conflict Resolution Center.
We have the experience and resources to resolve any case, of any size, that falls within our expertise and jurisdiction. But if we believe your case could be better handled by other counsel for any reason, we will be the first to say so, and to refer you to them.
Schneider & Branch is a small civil litigation law firm – a “boutique” handling only cases needing dispute resolution by settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial.
We have two founders and partners: David Schneider and Michael Branch. Each of them provides our clients with their own personal, hands-on, and start-to-finish representation in every one of our cases – no exceptions. Our founders and associated counsel now share more than fifty years of experience, and have well over one hundred jury trials, bench trials, binding arbitrations, and mediations between them.
On certain cases, when the client will benefit, our partners may also be assisted by an excellent lawyer who is Of Counsel to our firm, and a former partner.
We believe in serving our clients as a small but highly sophisticated litigation law firm, with just one partner personally responsible for every detail of each case. We think this is the most responsive, efficient, and cost-effective option for resolving complex legal disputes today. Only you can decide if this is the right approach for your case, and for you personally.
David Schneider earned his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Texas in Austin, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He began his law practice in San Diego in 1988 at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps — which merged with McKenna Long & Aldridge, and later Dentons. In 1994 he founded Yunker & Schneider, an AV-rated boutique litigation firm.
David has tried dozens of cases to judges and juries. He tries to “cut to the chase” to resolve cases as efficiently and quickly as possible. If David’s style fits your case, he could be an excellent lawyer for you.
